Empower: abilities is excited to announce the upcoming Day at the Lake event, a free and inclusive day of fun for individuals with disabilities and their families. The event will be held on September 21, 2024, at Miller Park, Fellows Lake, just north of Springfield, Missouri.

Event Highlights:

`Accessible Pontoon Boat Rides: Enjoy a relaxing ride on the lake with easy access for everyone.

`Adaptive Kayaking: Experience the thrill of kayaking with adaptive equipment designed for all abilities.

`Paddle Boats: Enjoy a relaxing ride at your own pace on the lake while taking in the beautiful surroundings in a paddle boat.

`Sailboat Rides: Take a scenic sailboat ride on the beautiful Fellows Lake.

`Crafts and Games: Participate in creative crafts and engaging games.

`Food and Refreshments: Enjoy delicious food and beverages throughout the day provided by a variety of food trucks.

Volunteer Opportunities: We are also seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help make this event a success. Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks, including setup, crafts, registration, assisting with water activities, safety, games, and teardown.
