empower: abilities to facilitate monthly support group for those who are blind and visually impaired

empower: abilities invites those who are interested to join our monthly blind and low vision support group, hosted by Taleisha Davis. The group plans to meet on the second Tuesday of the month from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Community Room located at 1450 W Cambridge St Springfield MO 65807.

Participants in the support group can engage in discussions covering a range of topics, including independent living skills, health and wellness, and the latest in assistive technology. empower: abilities aims to create an inclusive and supportive environment where individuals can share experiences and gain valuable insights into enhancing their quality of life. The group plans to feature guest speakers from the local community, providing additional resources and perspectives on different blind and low vision topics.
